A quote is a record of a sale containing products and how much they would cost. It is usually given for customers who are purchasing things in bulk or someone who is shopping around and wanting to compare prices between different stores.
To generate a quote in Uprow, follow the steps below:
When a customer requests a quote, on the quotation Screen, add the products and any other information needed (such as the customer name, any discounts, a sale note, changes to tax etc.)
1. Press Enter in Customer to select from Customers pop-up screen.
2. To add a new Customer, click on Create New Customer and then specify Customer's Name, Address, City,
Phone and Email, then click Ok.
3. Repeat the following until you add all the items that the customer wants to buy:
a. Scan the item barcode or specify the Item Code or press Enter in Code to select from the pop-up screen
b. Enter the expected sales quantity in Qty.
4. To remove an item from the quotation,
a. Press Bin icon on the respective item row. Delete confirmation appears.
b. Click OK to confirm.
5. To give any bill discount, click on discount link on right side of the screen and discount popup will appear.

7. Press F5 or click on Save and Print if you want to save and print the quotation.
8. Create Sales Order or Create Sales Bill directly for the Sales Quotation
