Uprow Email Setup Overview

Emails are one of the most important parts of a business that allows you to communicate with the customers and suppliers etc. But it can be complex process if you use email separately. Well, the Uprow POS allows you to set up your email to send invoices, reports and other transactions through email. Emailing directly from Uprow ERP save a lot of time, effort, and is considered one of the most effective features of the software. 



Benefits of Uprow email setup
A few of the most compelling benefits of Uprow email feature are given as under. 

     •   Ease of directly Emailing invoices, quotes to the customers.
     •    Payment reminders to the customers via emails.
     •    Allows the user to fetch details from the customers and vendors.
     •    Can also be used to share reports within offices or departments with the help of Uprow emailing.



Requirements to set-up email in Uprow
For setting up email in Uprow, the following information is mandatory:

     •   Username
     •    Password
     •    Incoming  and Outgoing email server address (varies as per the service provider)
     •    Details of email server type 



Steps to be followed for setting up E-Mail Service in Uprow

     1.    Go to Admin > Email/SMS > Email Configuration

     

     2.    Click on Add New Sender button. It will open up the Add Email Info window.

     

     3.    In the Add Email Info window enter your email information.  You may need to know the SMTP
            Server Details for your Email Provider, including Server Name and Port number.

     

          •    Enter your full e-mail account name in the Email Id box. 
          •    If you select Gmail or Yahoo as the E-mail Provider, Uprow will automatically fill in the Server
                Name and Port for you.
          •  If you select Others you will have to fill in the Server Name and Port.  The Default Port is 25.  If
                you have trouble connecting with that Port, contact your E-mail Provider for an alternative.
          •   The next step is to choose the SSL security checkbox.
Note: The SMTP Server Details fields are automatically filled in and grayed out.
     4. Click Save
     5. Your Gmail account appears in the E-mail Ids field and you can set the email as current default.  
     6. You can test if the email is configured or not by clicking on the Test Email button.

     

Note: You may be required to enter your password one or more times before sending forms when you launch Uprow or when you launch Windows.
